Park Policies & Procedures

PARK POLICIES & PROCEDURES for YOUR SAFETY

Please read our Park Policies & Procedures and review them with all family members before staying with us. Strict enforcement of all rules will be in place for all occupants registered to your site. We are proud to be a family friendly park, creating a fun and safe place for you to enjoy your vacation with your family. We appreciate your adherence to our park policies so we can ensure everyone has a pleasant stay!

OVERNIGHT CAMPING: Check-in time is 2:00 p.m./ Check-out time is 12 noon.

RENTAL UNITS: Check-in time is 3:00 p.m./ Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.

ARRIVALS: Please schedule your Check-in time slot through our Saugeen Springs APP anytime after 2:00 pm for overnight camp sites and 3:00 pm for rental units by clicking on the “Transient Schedule Check-In” Icon. Early arrivals will not be processed.

All GUESTS must be registered at the Office before entering the Park. Transient day guests are allowed. Additional charges apply. No Transient overnight guests allowed. No Transient day guests on long weekends.

QUIET HOURS are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. All music must be shut off at 11:00 p.m. SHARP. Quiet voice around the campfire.

SPEED LIMIT -10 Km Watch for children…they are very special.

NO PERSONAL FIREWORKS OR FLYING LANTERNS ALLOWED!!!!

EXCESSIVE NOISE or ABUSIVE LANGUAGE will not be tolerated at any time.

Do not bring your own FIREWOOD into the Park. Wood must be purchased on site.

ALCOHOL, under Provincial Law, must be kept on campsite at all times. Glass bottles to be in protective covers.

SMOKING is restricted from all public common areas. Please respect our CANNABIS policies. Smoke on your own site only.

GARBAGE dumpster and RECYCLING bins are provided near Park entrance. Please follow our recycling guidelines and place all garbage in dumpster. Let’s keep the Park natural and litter free.

PARENT(s)/guardian(s) are responsible for the safety and actions of their children. All children under 18 years must be back on their sites by 10:00 p.m unless they are accompanied by a parent/guardian.

NO RIDING bikes after dusk. PLAYGROUNDS close at dusk. GREEN GYM closes at dusk.

ATVS, GOLF CARTS and DIRT BIKES are not to be operated on Park Property. MOBILITY SCOOTERS are allowed.

SWIMMING in the river is at your own risk. No swimming after dusk. NO debris, soap or shampoo in the river.

Use of the FLOATING POND & WATER TRAMPOLINE are at your own risk. Inflatable tubes and pond toys are permitted in the water.

FISHING in the pond is for CATCH & RELEASE ONLY. Do not use barbed hooks. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

CAMPFIRES are to be kept contained to the inside of the fire ring and be attended to at all times. Before leaving your campsite or retiring for the night please drown the ashes with water and put campfire completely out. No burning of garbage. DO NOT leave a campfire to smolder.

One PICNIC TABLE is provided with your site. Do not remove tables from another site.

SITE CLEANLINESS is the responsibility of the registered camper. Please leave your site in the same condition as it was when you arrived. $40.00/hour will be charged to your credit card for cleaning up your site for you.

WASHROOMS, privies and laundry room are open 24 hours. For the safety of your children please have them accompanied by an adult when in these facilities. Please help to keep these areas clean.

PETS are welcome and are to be kept leashed at all times and never left unattended. Please walk them on our self-guided walking trails and enjoy use of the off leash DOG PARK. Pets are not allowed on the Beaches. Be kind and clean up after your pet.

TREES & plants must not be damaged or removed. DO NOT tie ropes to trees for clotheslines. Tenters may secure tarps to trees.

BRIDGE is for transportation across the river. NO climbing on or jumping from the bridge structure. DRIVE SLOW crossing the bridge. If boards rattle, you are driving too fast.

CHICKENS, DUCKS & ANIMALS are the property of the Serez family. Wire fencing is ELECTRIC. Children MUST be accompanied when viewing the animals. DO NOT FEED THE CHICKENS, DUCKS OR ANIMALS. Feeding the wrong food can be fatal to some animals.

DO NOT feed or abuse WILDLIFE. Please respect our natural environment.

DRONES are not permitted in the Park, please keep them at home.

Discharge of FIREARMS is prohibited.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, we request that you do not attempt to enter the campground.

Respect of others and Park Team: All Customers, Guests and the Park Team are responsible for respecting the dignity and rights of everyone at the campground. Every person has a right to expect their time at the campground will be without any type of discrimination or harassment. We will not tolerate, ignore, or condone discrimination or harassment and we are committed to promoting respectful conduct, tolerance and diversity at all times.

We ask parents to instruct their children and see that they adhere to the rules.

Any camper, regardless of age who breaches the Code will be asked to leave the campground immediately and your Campsite Agreement will be cancelled.

NO WARNINGS. NO REFUNDS.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT ANYONE FROM THE PARK GROUNDS IN VIOLATION OF PARK POLICIES.
